Vanessa is completing a Bachelor of Art Therapy and works as a death doula and meditation facilitator, offering therapeutic support through expressive arts therapy and embodied, reflective practice. Her work supports people across the lifespan as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, grief, caregiving, and periods of significant change.
Sacred Transitions is the name she holds for this work — a space where what is unspoken can begin to take form in its own time, through creative process and presence.
Her approach is grounded in attunement, presence, and the belief that people carry an inner knowing that can be gently accessed and supported through creative expression.
Vanessa’s practice is informed by professional training and by experiences of caregiving, loss, and threshold moments that have shaped her understanding of human vulnerability and resilience. This informs a deep respect for the quieter, often unspoken dimensions of experience.
Alongside her therapeutic work, she draws on visual arts, movement, storytelling, drama, ritual, and mindfulness-based practices to support expression and integration.
